2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Bhagwanpur P.S. Case No. 116 of 2023 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 363, 364(A) of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The prosecution case, in short, is that the Informant received a call on his mobile through which he came to know that his brothers are in possession of the caller. The caller further demanded ransom of Rs. 50,000/- for their release.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence as alleged

The petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. and his name has surfaced in this case on the confessional statement of coaccused Vishal Kumar Singh. Except confession, there is nothing against the petitioner. He has further submitted that none of the victim or the witness has disclosed the name of the petitioner in the alleged offence.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner again submits that the co-accused Vishal Kumar Singh has been granted bail by this Court vide order dated 19.02.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 83396 of 2023.

6. On the other hand, learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner.

7. Considering the rival submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Bhagwanpur P.S. Case No. 116 of 2023, subject to the conditions as laid
