2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bodh Gaya P.S. Case No. 379/2022 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 8/21(C)/25/29 of the NDPS Act. The petitioner is in custody since 26.06.2022.

3. 1 Kg 6 grams of heroine was recovered from the two accused persons riding motorcycle. The petitioner is said to be the pillion rider.

4. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner being the pillion rider cannot be fastened with the responsibility of the recovery of narcotics substance. The petitioner has no criminal antecedents.

5. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the huge recovery, I am not inclined to grant bail to this petitioner. This application is dismissed.
