The petitioner is in custody since 30.03.2018 in connection with Special Case No. 2869 of 2018 (Mokama P.S. case no. 73 of 2018) for the offence under Sections 30(a) and 37(b) (c) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. The petitioner has remained in custody for more than two months. He further submits that 14 litres country-made liquor was seized in the instant case.
