This is the second attempt of the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail in connection with Sonpur P.S. Case No. 856 of 2023 dated 08.09.2023 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 341, 420, 427, 452, 467, 468, 471, 120B. Earlier, the petitioner has filed Cr. Misc. No. 11966 of 2024 and vide order dated 12.03.2024, the same was allowed with a condition to verify the criminal antecedent. On verification it is found that petitioner has one criminal antecedent which was not mentioned in the bail application as a result of which his bail bond was cancelled. A modification application has also been filed as Cr. Misc. No. 36552 of 2024 but vide order dated 10.05.2024, the same was also dismissed.

In view of the aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.80204 of 2024(2) dt.17-01-2025 2/2 petitioner on bail. The prayer for grant of anticipatory bail on his behalf is hereby rejected.

This application is accordingly dismissed.

However, the petitioner is at liberty to surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks and seek regular bail and the learned Court below would pass order, preferably, on the same day, in accordance with law. (Anjani Kumar Sharan, J) priyanka/- U T
