JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 20-04-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1(i). For cancellation of appointment/ selection of Respondent No. 7 from the post of Anganwari Sevika for Ward No. 1, Code-156, Kawakol North.

(ii). For direction upon the respondent authorities to select the petitioner for the aforesaid post of Sevika as this petitioner has the second position in the seniority list.

(iii). For direction upon the respondent authorities particularly Respondent No. 4 to 6 to

Patna High Court CWJC No.16581 of 2023(2) dt.20-04-2024 2/2 call for a fresh Aam Sabha in selection of Anganwari Sevika as the meeting of Aam Sabha dated 25.07.2023 is not in accordance with procedure laid down by the State Government through Social Welfare Department, Government of Bihar.

(iv). For issuance of appropriate order and direction upon the aforesaid Respondents No. 4 to 6 to stop the salary and poshahar to the Private Respondent No. 7 with immediate effect."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law including that of filing a suit before the learned Civil Court having competent jurisdiction. Liberty, so sought, is granted. 3.
