The petitioner, who is in custody since 20.09.2019 and does not have criminal antecedent, seeks bail in connection with Excise Case No. 1897 of 2019 which has been instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

48 litres of liquor is said to have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

Considering the nature of allegation and period of custody of the petitioner, he is directed to be released on

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.70027 of 2019(2) dt.04-12-2019 2/2 bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 4th Additional Sessions Judgecum-Special Judge Excise , Bhojpur at Ara in connection with Excise Case No. 1897 of 2019.
