====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 28-11-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State.

2. This petition has been filed for modification of order dated 06.08.2024, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 86536/2023 to the extent of extension of time period for depositing the remaining amount of Rs. 1,50,000/- as directed in the aforesaid order as well as period of surrender.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that due to reasons assigned in the modification petition, petitioner was unable to comply with the direction of Hon'ble Court vide aforesaid order and could not deposit the amount of Rs. 1,50,000/- (Rs. One Lac Fifty Thousand) in the Nazarat of Jehanabad Civil Court, as such, he prays for further time to

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.80956 of 2025(2) dt.28-11-2025 2/2 deposit the same.

4. In view of the aforesaid contention made on behalf of the petitioner, as a last indulgence, further two weeks' time from today is granted to the petitioner to deposit Rs. 1,50,000/- (Rs. One Lac Fifty Thousand) in the Nazarat of Jehanabad Civil Court and furnish its receipt, failing which learned court below would be at liberty to cancel the bail-bond subject to payment of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand) in the office of concerned District Legal Services Authority that may be utilized by the Civil Court concerned in purchase of furniture and beautification of the court premises.

5. Accordingly, order dated 06.08.2024, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 86536/2023 is modified to the extent indicated above.
