The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail on the ground that he has remained in jail for about two years by now and the trial has not yet concluded. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that up till now, seven witnesses have been examined.

The petitioner along with his associates is alleged to have abducted the wife of the informant in presence of her son. Later, the dead body of the wife of the informant was recovered. The dead body was in a completing decomposed state and hence the cause of death could not be ascertained.

Considering the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

The trial court is directed to expedite the conclusion of the trial.
