ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 18-11-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the State. The petitioner is in custody since 20.07.2019, in connection with Saran Mahila P.S. Case No. 33 of 2019 for the offenses under Sections 341, 323, 354(B) of the Indian penal Code and Section 8 & 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.

Considering the fact that the victim girl has herself elaborately detailed in FIR and as the girl is minor and charges have been framed under POCSO, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. It is, accordingly, rejected. Let the trial be expedited so as to conclude positively within a period of six months from today.
