The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No.348 of 2019/G.R. No.2137 of 2019 registered under Sections 406, 420, 467, 468, 470, 170 and 120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is that one person met the informant, who disclosed his name as Kunal Singh introducing himself to be the P.A. of the Member of Parliament, namely, Lalan Singh, and asked the informant that he would provide him job on the payment of Rs.1,00,000/- at the Municipal Corporation, Munger. After ten days, the informant paid him Rs.40,000/- at the circuit house and, thereafter, he paid Rs.7,00,000/- to him on different occasions but after passing over much time, he neither provided the job to the

Thereafter, the informant started making query, then came to know that the said person, who was introducing himself to be P.A., used to commit cheat and his actual name is Brajesh Kumar alias Bambam Singh and he has also realized the money from several persons on the pretext of providing them job.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. In course of investigation, one Brajesh Kumar alias Bambam Singh was apprehended, who disclosed the name of the petitioner and three others as his associates indulged in cheating the several persons. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 15.08.2019.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Munger, in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No.348 of 2019/G.R. No.2137 of 2019. Out of the two sureties, one must be the close relative of the petitioner. (Rajendra Kumar Mishra, J) P.S./- U T
