2. By filing the present writ application, the petitioners have prayed for following relief(s):
Patna High Court CWJC No.1021 of 2023 dt.25-04-2024 2/3 I) For directing the respondents to make payments of their salary which has fully been stopped since May, 2022 up to date and onwards in the pay scale admissible to them.
II) For directing the respondents to pay the arrears of difference of salary for the period prior to May, 2022.
III) For directing the respondent nos. 10 & 11 to conduct a thorough enquiry into the affairs of the Ram Sharam Sahu Lalita Inter College, Adhin Nagar, Aunsi, Madhubani whose management has been found to be indulged in several illegalities in contravention of the Rules.
IV) For directing the competent authority to take suitable action against erring authorities of the Management of the Colleges.
3. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the respondent authorities for redressal of their grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
4. The petitioners are directed to file a detailed representation before the Director, Secondary Education, Government of Bihar, Patna (respondent no. 3) along with all supporting documents within a period of three weeks and the respondent no.3 is well advised to consider the case of the petitioners after affording opportunity of personal hearing or through their counsel and pass a reasoned and speaking order in
Patna High Court CWJC No.1021 of 2023 dt.25-04-2024 3/3 accordance with law within ten weeks from the date of receipt of the representation of the petitioners.
5. It is made clear that respondent no.3 shall be liable for non-compliance of this order within the stipulated period.
6. With the aforesaid direction, this writ application stands disposed of.
