Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court, vide order dated 13.11.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No.52540 of 2017 with a direction to the learned trial court to expedite the trial.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that he is in custody since 22.12.2016 and up-till-now only the charge has been framed.

Heard learned A.P.P. also, who has opposed the prayer for bail stating that this is a serious case. Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, however, since the charge has been framed in this
