Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 366A/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is that he induced the daughter of the informant to go with him. The victim in her statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C. stated that though she had gone on inducement of the petitioner and the petitioner expressed his willingness to marry with her, however, she refused unless the parent's consent. Learned counsel for the informant opposed the prayer for bail vehemently.

Considering the nature of allegation and the fact

No.32709 of 2018 (2) dt.25-06-2018 2/2 that the petitioner is in custody since 17.03.2018 as well as the completion of the investigation of the case, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Balia Police Station Case No. 55 of 2018, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
