====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ALOK KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 12-11-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-State.
2. At the very outset, the petitioner is permitted to make necessary correction in the cause title.
3. With consent of the parties, the present writ application is being disposed of at this stage itself.
4. The petitioner has prayed for grant of following
Patna High Court CWJC No.18058 of 2025(2) dt.12-11-2025 2/3 relief :- "1. (a) For issuance of order, direction or writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner on compassionate ground in view of the fact that the father of the petitioner who served as 'parichari' at Rajkiyakrit Mahadev Uchh Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Khusrupur in the Government of Bihar and died in harness on 01.04.2025.'

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for the aforesaid relief claimed in the present writ application, the petitioner is prepared to file a detail representation before respondent No.8, i.e., the District Education Officer, Patna and prays that appropriate direction be issued to respondent No.8 to decide the representation on merit after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
6. To the aforesaid submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel appearing for respondent-State does not have any objection.
7. Considering the limited nature of prayer being made by learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ application is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to file a detail representation before the respondent No.8, i.e., the District Education Officer, Patna within one month from today and if such a representation is filed, the respondent No.8, i.e., the District Education Officer, Patna shall decide the said
Patna High Court CWJC No.18058 of 2025(2) dt.12-11-2025 3/3 representation on merit after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner by passing a reasoned and speaking order.
8. The entire exercise must be completed by respondent No.8 within a period of 12 weeks from the date of filing of the representation by the petitioner.
9. With the aforesaid observation/direction and liberty granted, the present writ application stands disposed of.
10. All pending I.A.s, if any, is deemed to have been disposed of.
