2. The present petition has been preferred for the grant of following relief(s):
"for issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction for commanding the respondents to maintain the Jamabandi register, if not maintained by entering the petitioner's land appertaining to Khata no.69, Khesra no.1011 measuring an area of 1.4215 dec. and Khata no.75, Khesra no.1012 measuring an area
Patna High Court CWJC No.17754 of 2025(2) dt.18-11-2025 2/3 of 1.5625 dec. situated in Mauza-Dumri under Bihta Block of Patna District and allow Mutation in the name of the petitioner as done in the case of similarly placed Beby Devi who also purchased the land from the same persons in the same Khata and plot so after purchase of land by the petitioner in quashing the order dated 14.08.2024 passed by the Deputy Collector Land Reforms, Danapur in connection with Mutation Appeal No. 478/2023-24, whereby and whereunder the learned D.C.L.R. found the subject land as not available in the jamabandi panji and accordingly the order passed by the Circle Officer, Bihta in Mutation Case No. 3752/2022-23 dated 04.08.2022 has been affirmed and the case of the petitioner has been discriminated."
3. Learned State counsel has taken this Court to the order of the Deputy Collector Land Reforms, Danapur in the Appeal Case No. 478 of 2023-24 (Annexure-P/4A) which is dated 14.08.2024 to show that the order was passed more than a year back and it was clearly recorded by the concerned authority
Patna High Court CWJC No.17754 of 2025(2) dt.18-11-2025 3/3 that if aggrieved, the lady can move before the Additional Collector, Patna. She sat over the matter for over a year and now preferring this writ petition.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits she shall be approaching the Additional Collector, Patna but delay has occurred and the lady had no knowledge about the passing of the order.
5. In that background, the writ petition is disposed of allowing the petitioner to approach the Additional Collector, Patna within a period of four weeks and if such petition is filed within the specified period, the Additional Collector, Patna shall take up the matter and pass an appropriate order on its merit after hearing all the parties in accordance with law.
