JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 20-11-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1.(i) For issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the respondent authorities mainly respondents no. 2 and 3 to honour the order dated 2008-2024, passed by the learned Civil Judge (SD) IV, Patna, in Title Suit (Partition) No. 65 of 2023, as is contained in Annexure-P/3 of this writ application, whereby status quo has been granted with regard to the suit property.

Patna High Court CWJC No.17527 of 2024(2) dt.20-11-2024 2/3 (ii) For issuance of a writ of Certiorari for quashing letter no. 1855 dated 02/09/2024, issued under the signature of respondent no. 3, as is contained in Annexure- P/4, by which he has refused to honour the aforesaid order dated 20/08/2024, on the ground that vide letter no. 7035 dated 20/12/22, the Administrative Department has directed all the District Registration Officer not to go by the order of status quo until and unless they are party in the case in which order has been passed.

(iii) For issuance of writ of Certiorari quashing the order dated 20/12/22, as contained in Annexure-P/1 to this writ application, issued by the Additional IG Registration, Bihar, Patna, directing all the District Registration Officers not to go by the order of status quo until and unless they are party to it."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of the aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
