JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 25-10-2019 Petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Raniganj P.S. Case No. 297 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 341, 323, 307, 379, 354B, 506 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code. As per FIR all the accused persons, including the petitioners have assaulted the informant and others and specific allegation against petitioner No.1 is of dragging the daughter of the informant and allegation against other petitioners is of snatching gold chain.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioners is

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.68608 of 2019(2) dt.25-10-2019 2/2 that there is case and counter case between the parties and they are neighbours and allegations of dragging the daughter of informant and snatching of gold chain are ornamental in nature. Heard learned APP also.

In view of above facts and circumstances, let petitioners, in the event of arrest or surrender, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond sof Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the S.D.J.M., Araria, in connection with Raniganj P.S. Case No. 297 of 2017, corresponding to G.R. No. 2803 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. and further condition is that one of the bailors of the petitioners shall be a local person having sufficient immoveable property within the jurisdiction of the court concerned.
