The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Jalalpur P.S. Case No. 34 of 2018 dated 14.03.2018 instituted for the offence under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

The gold chain of the victim was snatched by three persons. The accused person who was in possession of the chain managed to run away. The petitioner and another were arrested on the spot. With respect to the same occurrence another case vide Jalalpur P.S. Case No. 35 of 2018 was also instituted for offences under Sections 414 of the IPC and Sections 25(1-b)a, 26,35 of the Arms Act.

In the aforesaid case, the petitioner has been

But for the two cases referred to above, the petitioner has not been made accused in any other case and is in custody, in the present case, since 14.03.2018. Considering the period of custody and the nature of accusation, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate IX, Saran at Chapra in connection with Jalalpur P.S. Case No. 34 of 2018.
