JUSTICE HARISH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 19-05-2025 Heard learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State as well as learned Advocate for the opposite party no. 2.

The petitioner happens to be husband of the opposite party no. 2 is apprehending his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 175 of 2021, wherein cognizance has been taken for the offences punishable under Sections 498 A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. Considering the nature of the grievance and the dispute which has arisen on account of a matrimonial discord

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.78719 of 2024(4) dt.19-05-2025 2/2 and family feud, the matter was referred to the Patna High Court Mediation Center. On sincere efforts, finally the dispute between the parties came to be resolved through the process of mediation. The terms of settlement mutually agreed upon by the parties is also placed before this Court with the report.

4. Considering the aforesaid facts showing the settlement of the dispute the present application stands allowed, let the petitioner be released on bail in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 5,000/- (five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Dehari, Rohtas in connection with Complaint Case No. 175 of 2021, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 with the further condition that one of the bailors shall be the own/close family members of the petitioner.
