The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Jokihat (Mahalgaon) P.S. Case No. 255 of 2017 dated 01.08.2017 instituted for the offence under Section 394 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant and his associates were waylaid and robbed of their belongings. The name of the petitioner transpired in the confession of one Md. Aslam who has been granted bail by a Bench of this Court. The petitioner has not been put on test identification parade and does not have any criminal antecedent. He is in custody since 22.04.2018.
