Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20 and 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

About 16 Kg. of Ganja was, allegedly, recovered from possession of co-accused Chulhai Das. Chulhai Das disclosed to the police that the petitioner is his criminal associate. Petitioner has got no such criminal antecedent. Petitioner is in custody since 31.03.2018. Investigation of the case is already complete.

Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.45472 of 2018 (2) dt.02-08-2018 2/2 like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Spl. Case No. 20 of 2017 arising out of By Pass Police Station Case No. 21 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner as well as condition that both the bailors shall be resident of within the territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below.
