JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 23-07-2018 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 87A/2015 arising out of Rajapakar P.S. Case No. 113 of 2013 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 149, 341, 323, 307, 379 and 326 of the Indian Penal Code. The present case is a very gruesome case inasmuch as the accused persons including the petitioner herein had poured acid on the victims leading to them having received grievous burn injuries. In fact the accused persons had also assaulted the informant and other persons.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and is languishing in custody since 15.10.2015.

No.32120 of 2018 (3) dt.23-07-2018 2/2 In view of the nature of the offence and gruesome crime committed by the accused persons including the petitioner herein, I am not inclined to grant bail especially on account of the fact that the trial is already going on and the injured witnesses have supported the case of the prosecution.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is dismissed.
