1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner would be satisfied in the event if the writ application is disposed of with a direction to the Collector, Nalanda to dispose of the Jamabandi Cancellation Appeal No.40/2021, filed against the order dated 24.09.2021, in Jamabandi Cancellation Case No.50/2019 passed by the Additional Collector, Revenue, Nalanda within a time frame.

3. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State does not have any objection to the submission made by the

Patna High Court CWJC No.19056 of 2024(3) dt.03-01-2025 2/2 learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners.

4. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties, the writ application is disposed of with a direction to the Collector, Nalanda to dispose of the Jamabandi Cancellation Appeal No.40/2021, filed against the order dated 24.09.2021, in Jamabandi Cancellation Case No.50/2019, by the Additional Collector, Revenue, Nalanda within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, after giving opportunity of hearing to all the concerned parties.

5. It is made clear that the Court has not gone into the merits of the case.
