The petitioner is in custody since 20.05.2019 in connection with Chandan (Anandpur) P.S. Case No. 87/2019 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341/323/ 376/ 504/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the POCSO Act.

Considering the fact that there is specific allegation against the petitioner and the victim girl, in her statement made under Section 164 Cr. P.C., has supported the case, I am not inclined to grant regular bail to this petitioner. It is, accordingly, rejected.

Trial be expedited within six months.
