The petitioners apprehend their arrest for the offences alleged under Sections 323 and 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code, registered in connection with Complaint Case No. 762 of 2021.
The Complainant, Vijaylaxmi Klumari, who is the wife of co-accused, Mukesh Kumar Sharma, has made allegation hat she was tortured for non-fulfilment of demand of dowry.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1485 of 2023(2) dt.30-01-2023 2/2 The learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that they are in-laws having no relation with day-to-day affairs of the couple. As a matter of fact, it was a love marriage and the family members of the husband were not happy with that and they were residing separately with the husband of the complainant. They have been made accused merely because they are close relatives of the husband of the complainant. Considering the above facts and circumstances, let the petitioners above-named, in the event of their arrest or surrender within four weeks from the date of communication of this order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) each, with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Strunjay Kshwaha, Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Madhubani in connection with Complaint Case No. 762 of 2021, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr. P.C.
