The petitioner has invoked the jurisdiction of this Court seeking a direction upon the respondents to appoint the petitioner on the post of 'Home Guard', in pursuant to the fact that he has accorded 10 marks, at the time of preparation of the merit list and thus, he secured higher marks than respondent no. 6 and 7; despite the facts afore-noted, his case has not been considered for appointment.

3. For redressal of the grievance the petitioner has also approached before the District Commandant.

4. Learned Advocate for the State submits that no specific particulars and details have been averred in the writ petition and even the notification has not been brought on record. On this ground alone, the learned Advocate for the State prays for dismissal of the writ petition.

5. Regard being had to the submissions made on behalf of the parties that the petitioner has approached before the concerned authorities for redressal of his grievance, the writ petition stands disposed off with a liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the concerned authority.
