In the light of statement made in the supplementary affidavit, counsel for the petitioner is permitted to make necessary correction in paragraph-3 of the main application in course of the day.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.
The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered under Sections 420, 406, 409, 467 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 7/9 of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. Allegedly, the petitioner received illegal gratification in lieu of transfer money meant for government scheme.

No.70908 of 2019(2) dt.27-11-2019 2/3 It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that there is no allegation of tampering of witnesses alleged against the petitioner. The petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. The petitioner is the Mukhiya of the Panchayat. The present prosecution has been instituted on the basis of complaint case made by the Ward Member of the Panchayat. The petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case due to political rivalry. It is further submitted that the petitioner is ready to deposit an amount of Rs. 1,00,000/- (one lac) in the court below which shall be subject to the outcome of the case. On behalf of the State and counsel for the informant it is submitted that the petitioner is named in the FIR. On behalf of the State, it is submitted that the petitioner is named in the Complaint Case/F.I.R.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the petitioner is directed to deposit an amount of Rs. 100,000/- in the court below which shall be subject to final outcome of the case. On doing so, the petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest/surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, shall be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned
