18-04-2024 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.P.P. for the State.
2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a complaint case punishable for the offence under Sections 420, 406of the Indian Penal Code.
3. According to the complaint case, the accused persons (petitioners) took Rs. Three lacs from the complainant, as dowry, to solemnize marriage of the complainant's daughter with petitioner no. 2, but later on, petitioners refused to marry or return the money.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.78882 of 2023(4) dt.18-04-2024 2/2 complaint case is false and fabricated. They are simply victim of false implication. No such negotiation was ever held between the parties and the complainant is in habit of lodging false cases only with a view to extort money and in support of the same, in paragraph 9 of the present petition, petitioners have given the details of altogether 7 complaint cases Petitioners claim clean antecedent.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioners, in the event of their arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., West Champaran, Bettiah in connection with Complaint Case No. 2465 of 2022, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
