The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Sections 25(1-b)a, 25(1)(a), 26 and 25 of the Arms Act. Petitioner is said to have been apprehended with double barrel gun and nine cartridges during the course of performing duty as guard in the Bank of Baroda, Gulabbag Branch.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner does not happen to be guard of the bank rather happens to be friend of one Amrendra Kumar who happens to be guard of the said bank. At the time of occurrence, said Amrendra Kumar had gone to some other place handing over

In the meantime, informant raided the Bank and apprehended the petitioner with aforesaid arm and ammunitions. Petitioner has no concern with the aforesaid arms and ammunitions. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent and has been languishing in custody since 27.07.2019. Similarly situated co-accused namely Dharmendra Kumar Yadav has been enlarged on regular bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 26.11.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 76249 of 2019.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on completion of six months in custody on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea in connection with K. Hat (Sahayak) P.S. Case No. 531 of 2019.
