The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Rajepur P.S. Case No.8 of 2017 registered under Sections 379, 323, 341, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The gist of the allegation is that while the informant was returning after imparting tuition, the petitioner intercepted him. The petitioner assaulted him with fist and slab and snatched his motorcycle bearing registration No.BR06AN-8993. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court by order dated 09.07.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No.39568 of 2018 but now the petitioner compromised the case and filed this fresh anticipatory bail but it is a case of broad-day snatching of motorcycle.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.69015 of 2019(2) dt.06-11-2019 2/2 Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid, I am not persuaded to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
