Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Bathnaha P.S. Case No. 151 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under sections 420/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 7 E.C. Act.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case merely on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused Sanjit Kumar. There is no specific allegation against petitioner and nothing was recovered from his conscious possession. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
