The petitioner apprehends her arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is a case of dowry death. Petitioner is mother-in-law of the deceased.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that thrust of accusation is against husband of the deceased who is already in custody. Petitioner is mother-in-law of the deceased and she is living separately and has got no concern with the family affairs of the deceased and her husband. There is general and omnibus allegation. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner abovenamed, in the event of her arrest/surrender before the court

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.918 of 2023(2) dt.07-04-2023 2/2 below within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sherghati, Gaya in connection with Sherghati P.S. Case No. 287 of 2022, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
