This application is filed for grant of regular bail in connection with Sohsarai P.S. Case No. 18 of 2022 registered under section 394 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.
The prosecution story in short is that the petitioner along with four persons on two motorcycles came and entered in the shop of the informant's son and shot him causing injury to him who died on the way to hospital. When informant entered the shop he saw that DVR of CCTV along with gold and
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1913 of 2023(3) dt.25-05-2023 2/3 ornaments of Rs. 4 to 5 lakhs were stolen from the shop. It appears that the petitioner is involved in committing murder, dacoity, extortion in the town of Patna. He is accused in nine cases of serious nature.
Considering the criminal antecedent of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and the same is dismissed.
The District Judge, Patna and the District Judge Nalanda is directed to get the trial of all the nine cases mentioned herein registered against the petitioner expedited.
