The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Teghra P.S. Case no. 164 of 2018, registered under Sections 366(A), 447, 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The accusation is that in absence of the informant, his daughter was enticed away by the petitioner for the purpose of marriage with the help of his other family members. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during the course of investigation, the statement of victim, daughter of the informant, was recorded under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C. in which she stated about leaving her parental house due to ill treatment of her father (informant), in drunken stage,
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.54706 of 2018(2) dt.10-10-2018 2/2 and later on she returned to her parental house, but she has not disclosed the name of petitioner having hand in removing her from her parental house, which would appear from Annexure-2 to this petition.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai in connection with Teghra P.S. Case No. 164 of 2018, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
