Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Ekma P.S. Case No.238 of 2019 for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016. The allegation against the petitioner is that a total quantity of 34.560 litres of illicit foreign liquor has been recovered from behind the house of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 22.09.2019.

Having regard to the submissions made by the parties and taking into consideration the fact that petitioner has got no

Accordingly, let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additinal District & Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Court, Excise, Saran at Chapra, in connection with Ekma P.S. Case No.238 of 2019.
