The present writ application has been filed with a simple prayer by the petitioner to issue a writ of mandamus, commanding the respondent no. 3 to dispose of the representation dated 15.04.2019 (Annexure- P-1) for granting him permission to establish his "Trolley" with Band Saw in terms of Rules 4 (g) of Bihar Saw Mills (Regulation) Rules, 1993 as he is facing great difficulty in cutting of big timber logs. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the fact that his representation has been kept pending

Patna High Court CWJC No.21504 of 2019(2) dt.24-10-2019 2/2 for a prolonged period, this Court may issue necessary orders as such a delay on the part of the respondents is causing serious prejudice to the running of his business of Saw Mills. He, thus, submits that the respondents be given appropriate direction for disposal of his representation in accordance with law. Considering the simple prayer made by the petitioner, let the petitioner approach the office of the respondent no. 3, i.e. the Licensing Officer cum Divisional Forest Officer, Patna Forest Division, Patna with the copy of this order, who shall immediately take up the representation dated 15.04.2019 pending before him and dispose of the same positively by the 15th of November, 2019.

With the aforesaid directions, the application stands disposed of.

Let it be made clear that any inaction on the part of the concerned respondents shall be seriously viewed and the Court may pass appropriate orders, even thereafter. (Anjana Mishra, J) Jagdish/- U
