1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this is an application for issuance of the appropriate writ/writs, direction/directions, order/orders, commanding the respondents to pay appropriate compensation, upon death of her eighteen (18) years aged Son of Late Ravi Kumar Dixit due to drowning in the flood water on 14.08.2017 and further prayer is made to quash and set aside the letter no. 68, dated 10.02.2018 (Annexure-5) whereby and whereunder death claim file no. 08/17-18 in respect of petitioner sent by the S.D.O.

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the District Magistrate, West Champaran at Bettiah, for redressal of her aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. It is needless to state that in case appropriate petition is filed, within a period of four weeks from today, the District Magistrate, West Champaran at Bettiah, shall consider the same and pass a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.

4. The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
