This application is for grant of regular bail in connection with Khirimore P.S.Case No.34 of 17, S.Tr. No.539 of 2018for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 326, 307,498A, 504/34, 304(B) and 302 of the Indian Penal Code. As per FIR, petitioner happens to be husband . There is allegation against the petitioner of pouring k-oil and setting her on fire, causing injury and later on there is allegation of demand of Rs.1.60 lac and later on wife of the petitioner died and Sections 302 and 304(B) of the IPC were added. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the whole allegation is false and baseless. He is in custody since 26.4.2018.

No.75485 of 2019(2) dt.26-11-2019 2/2 Having heard both sides and in view of allegation as well as the petitioner is husband, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage, but since the petitioner is in custody for 1 1⁄2 years, the learned court below is directed to expedite the committal proceeding, if already not committed. With the aforesaid observation, this application is dismissed.
