2. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's case is squarely covered by judgment dated 13.11.2024 passed in C.W.J.C. No.16104 of 2024.

3. In view of the aforesaid, the impugned pay

Patna High Court CWJC No.18419 of 2024(3) dt.05-02-2025 2/2 verification certificate issued vide Receipt No.1108220901123, under the signature of the authorized officer, Pay Verification Cell, Department of Education, Government of Bihar, Patna (Annexure-P/4 series) is hereby quashed and the matter is remanded back to the State authorities for proceeding afresh in accordance with law.

4. The University is directed to refund Rs.16,36,784/- with statutory interest to the petitioner which has been deducted from the retirement benefit of the petitioner.

5. It goes without saying that the petitioner is entitled to receive pension as per his earlier pay-scale.

6. Accordingly, this writ application stands disposed of.
