The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Bhawanipur (Akbarpur) P. S. Case No. 153 of 2018 arising out of CIS No. 861 of 2018 registered under Section 395 of the Indian Penal Code.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the serious nature of allegation for which the police may require custodial interrogation of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, the application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.
