Petitioners, who are in custody, seek bail in connection with Excise Case No. 55C-2 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a), 32(1), 38(1) and 41(2) of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against petitioners are of recovery of 1260 liters of foreign wine from the pickup van in which petitioners were sitting.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioners that they are innocent and have committed no offence. They have been falsely implicated in this case due to enmity. They are

They have no criminal antecedent and they are in custody since 30.07.2018. Considering the aforesaid fact and circumstances of the case, let the petitioners named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District and Sessions Judge 2nd-cum-Special Judge (Excise), Lakhisarai in connection with Excise Case No. 55C-2 of 2018.
