The instant application for regular bail has been filed by the petitioner in connection with Pipra P.S. case No. 275 of 2020 instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 399, 402 of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 20, 22 of the NDPS Act and 25(1-b), 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

Earlier the application for regular bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 01.02.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 44816 of 2022.

In compliance of the order dated 01.12.2023, a status report has been received by which it appears that trial will be concluded within a period of nine months.

No fresh ground is made out for reconsideration of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.78821 of 2023(3) dt.05-01-2024 2/2 the regular bail application of the petitioner. Accordingly, this application is rejected.

The application stands disposed off.

The learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within the stipulated period as mentioned in its report, failing which, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.
