JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 02-12-2024 The limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present case is to direct the District Magistrate, Aurangabad, i.e. the Respondent No. 2, to dispose off the application, filed by the petitioner in the year, 2012, for renewal of his Arms license. 2.

Per contra, the learned counsel for the Respondent-State submits that in case, the aforesaid application, filed by the petitioner, is still pending consideration, the same would definitely be disposed off within a fixed time frame as is fixed by this Court.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case,

Patna High Court CWJC No.17979 of 2024(2) dt.02-12-2024 2/2 I deem it fit and proper to direct the Respondent No. 2 to consider the application filed by the petitioner, for renewal of his gun license, in case the same has actually been filed and is still pending consideration, in accordance with law and pass a reasoned and a speaking order within a period of six weeks of receipt / production of a copy of this order. 4.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
