2. The petitioner was appointed on the post of Peon (Field) in the year 2014 in the office of the Deputy Director, Bihar State Seed and Organic Certificate Agency, Bhagalpur, Bihar. While the petitioner was disposing his duty as a peon(field) in the office of respondent no. 04, he was directed to discharge additional duty of night guard, vide letter no. 214 dated 29.06.2017 issued by the respondent no. 4.

3. Pursuant to the order afore-noted, the petitioner has discharged his duty to the entire satisfaction of the authorities concerned since 29.06.2017 to 17.11.2020 but, to the utter surprise the petitioner has

It is the contention of the learned Advocate for the petitioner that once he approached before the authorities concerned for his additional remuneration/salary, the petitioner despite being a Class IV employee, has been transferred from Bhagalpur to Patna. For redressal of his grievance, the petitioner also filed representation before the respondent no. 3 and 4, but, till date, the same has not been considered.

5. Learned Advocate for the State submits that since the petitioner has already approached before the competent authority who shall look into the matter and pass appropriate order.

6. Having considered the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties and taking note of the nature of the grievance, this Court deems it apt and proper to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner, the copy of which is marked as Annexure P/3 to the writ petition, preferably within a period of 8 weeks from the date of production of the order of this Court.

7. Suffice it to observe that in case the claim of the petitioner finds favour, necessary consequential monetary
