2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 379, 354-B and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per prosecution case, on 10.01.2024 at 06:00 pm, when informant was going to grocery shop, suddenly this petitioner molested her and tried to rape her and on hue and cry, petitioner ran away snatching gold chain from the neck of informant.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. That as a matter of fact, no occurrence in the manner alleged has ever taken place. FIR has been lodged after a delay of two days.

Petitioner has got clean

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.79532 of 2024(2) dt.23-01-2025 2/2 antecedent. He is in custody since 20.08.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Jhanjharpur, Madhubani, in connection with Laukaha P.S. Case No. 14 of 2024.
