2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Rohtas Complaint Case No. 278 of 2023, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 406 of the IPC and Sections 3⁄4 of the D.P. Act.

3. According to complaint petition, the marriage of the complainant was solemnized with the petitioner on 25.11.2022. The Customary presents were given on the occasion of marriage. It has been alleged that the accused persons, including the petitioner started torturing the complainant and eventually ousted her from her matrimonial house.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that on the ground of mental cruelty caused by the complainant by torturing the petitioner's parents, a divorce case was filed in the month of May 2023. It is further submitted that after five months of filing the divorce case, the present case has been filed.

5. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks before the learned court below, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned SDJM, Dehri, Rohtas in connection with Rohtas Complaint Case No. 278 of 2023, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the CrPC/482(2) of the BNSS, 2023.
