The petitioner seeks bail in Sahebpur Kamal P.S. Case No. 101/2018, instituted for the offences under Sections 420, 467, 414, 120(B)/34 of Indian Penal Code read with Sections 30(a), 32, 27 and 41(i) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. It is alleged in the written report that 882 litres of country made foreign liquor has been recovered from a truck, kept in the bags of potato. One Jasbindra Singh was arrested on the spot.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that name of this petitioner has come during investigation merely on suspicion raised by spy. Petitioner has clean antecedent.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.63801 of 2018 (2) dt.25-10-2018 2/2 Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Addl. Sessions Judge IInd-cum- Special Judge (Bihar Excise and Prohibition Act), Begusarai in connection with Sahebpur Kamal P.S. Case No. 101/2018, subject to the conditions that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioner.
