This application for regular bail arises out of Bhagwanpur P.S. Case No. 166/2018 for the offences under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. It is alleged that 17 litres and 640 ml. of foreign liquor was recovered from the premises of the State tube well. The petitioner was allegedly found to be fleeing away from the place where the said foreign liquor was concealed.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that his implication is based on suspicion only and he has no criminal antecedent.
Considering the above, this application is allowed. Let the petitioner above named be released on bail on
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.61913 of 2018(2) dt.06-10-2018 2/2 furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Addl. Sessions Judge-II, Begusarai cum Special Judge, Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act in Bhagawnpur P.S. Case No. 166/2018.
