1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Sheohar P.S. Case no.33 of 2024 registered under sections 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, it is stated that the petitioner was appointed as a survey Amin on contractual basis. The appointment was based on the certificate of Diploma in Civil Engineering produced by the petitioner issued by one Karnataka State Open University, Mysore. On verification it was found to be forged.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. No forged

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.76320 of 2025(3) dt.21-01-2026 2/2 certificate was produced or submitted by him at the time of his appointment. The petitioner is in custody since 13.8.2025 and has no criminal antecedent. Charge-sheet has been submitted in the case.

5. The application for bail is opposed by learned A.P.P for the State.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegation against the petitioner in the FIR, the petitioner having remained in custody for 5 months since 13.8.2025, not having any criminal antecedent and charge-sheet having been submitted in the case, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Sheohar P.S. Case no.33 of 2024 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sheohar.
