2. Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Rajiv Nagar P.S. Case No.124 of 2022, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. The petitioners is said to have made firing upon the informant and his daughter causing injuries to them.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Petitioner has got one criminal antecedent as stated in paragraph-3 of the bail petition. It is further submitted that informant has filed a petition before the learned court below stating therein that petitioner was not present at the place of occurrence.

5. Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner by submitting that injuries sustained by the injured persons are grievous in nature.

6. Considering the nature of injuries, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is hereby rejected.
